Sendai trip🏯

Hello, it’s Angie from Jabble Funabashi!

I hope everyone had a great summer holiday. This year, I decided to escape the crowds of Tokyo and Chiba to go up to Sendai. It was my first time so I was super excited!

Unfortunately, just as my bullet train pulled into Sendai Station, it started raining. Turns out, Typhoon Ampil was fast approaching Japan!

Luckily, I could wait out the rain at a Gyutan restaurant. I think I understand why people like it so much now! That being said, nothing beats the Zunda Shake I had at Aoba Castle.

Matsushima was also so beautiful. I’ll have to come back when it’s not raining!

みなさんはよい夏休みを過ごしたかと思います。私は今年、東京と千葉の混雑から逃げて、仙台へ行くと決めました。初めてだったので、めちゃくちゃ楽しみでした！

残念ながら、ちょうど新幹線が仙台駅に入った時、雨が降り始めました。結局、台風７号が日本に急接近していました。

幸運にも、雨が去るまで牛タンレストランで待てました。今なら、なぜみんなが牛タンが好きなのか分かったと思います。そうは言っても青葉城(仙台城)で飲んだずんだシェイクに勝るものはありません。
松島もとても綺麗でした。雨じゃない時にまた戻りたいと思います！
