American English and British English

Hey everyone, Roy from Funabashi here.
Today I’m going to tell you about some of the differences between American English and British English. Even though we speak the same language some of the words are different. Some Japanese words are also taken from American English. We don’t know why there are differences in US and UK English but most people think it’s because languages change with time and culture.

Even in the same country some words are different but have the same meaning.

今回は、アメリカ英語とイギリス英語の違いについて話そうと思います！
同じ言語を話していますが、色々な単語に違いがありますね。カタカナもいくつか、アメリカ英語からきたものもあります。なぜアメリカ英語とイギリス英語に違いがあるかわかりませんが、大体の人は文化と時代によって、言語の変化があるからだと思っています。

同じ国でもいくつかの言葉は同じ意味でも違う言葉がありますよ↓
