Do you like collecting? get ‘em all

Hey everyone, it’s Roy from Funabashi Jabble Eikaiwa (船橋ジャブル英会話) here!

Today I want to share something about myself —one of my hobbies: collecting coasters!
Right now, I’ve got around 50 coasters at home, and my collection is still growing.
I’m not even sure why I started, but I do remember that the first two were Pokémon coasters that I picked up from Lalaport in Funabashi.

If you’re a student at Jabble Funabashi, you probably already know how much I love Book Off.
Anytime I go to a secondhand shop, I head straight for the anime goods section and check for any coasters I don’t already own.
I don’t even need to know the anime—if it’s a coaster I’ve never seen before, I’m buying it!

This kind of collecting has become a fun way to explore stores around Chiba and Tokyo.
From big malls like Lalaport to local Book Offs and anime shops, it’s always a bit of a treasure hunt.
It’s also a great way to talk about daily life and hobbies during our English conversation lessons here at Jabble.
Real topics like collections, favorite stores, and weekend routines make lessons more fun and relatable for everyone.

If you know any good places that sell anime or character coasters, let me know!

みなさん、こんにちは！船橋ジャブル英会話（船橋ジャブル英会話スクール）のロイです！

今日は、僕の趣味の一つを紹介したいと思います。それは…コースター集めです！
今のところ、家に約50枚のコースターがあって、コレクションはどんどん増えています。
なぜ集め始めたのかは自分でもよく覚えていないのですが、最初の2枚は船橋のららぽーとで買ったポケモンのコースターだったのを覚えています。

Jabble船橋の生徒さんなら、僕がブックオフ大好きなのを知っているかもしれません。
リサイクルショップに行くと、まずはアニメグッズのコーナーへ直行して、まだ持っていないコースターがないかチェックします。
正直、アニメを知らなくても、見たことのないコースターがあれば迷わず買います！

このコースター集めを通して、千葉や東京のいろいろなお店を探検する楽しさもできました。
ららぽーとのような大型ショッピングモールから、地元のブックオフやアニメショップまで、まるで宝探しのようです。

こういった趣味の話は、Jabbleの英会話レッスンでもよく登場します。日常生活や趣味について英語で話す練習は、実用的で楽しいトピックとして人気です。
