Shimanami Kaido🚴

For Golden week this year, I went to Ehime in Shikoku. After visiting Matsuyama Castle and trying my hand at fishing, I cycled a part of the Shimanami Kaido.

The famous highway crosses six different islands, connecting Hiroshima and Ehime. You can drive, cycle, and even walk across it! I haven’t touched a bicycle since I was a student so I was a little nervous.

In the end, I cycled across the Kurushima-Kaikyo bridge and Oshima. All in all, I cycled about 23 km. I was so tired but it was worth it.I’ll have to go back and try again!

今年のゴールデンウィークは四国の愛媛に行きました。松山城を訪れて、釣りに挑戦した後、しまなみ海道の一部をサイクリングしました。広島と愛媛を繋ぐ６つの島にかかる有名な自動車道は、車で自転車で歩きでも渡ることができます。学生以来、自転車に乗っていなかったので、少し不安でした。

でも、最終的には来島海峡橋と大島を渡り、合計で23キロサイクリングしました。とても疲れましたが、価値がありました。また、しまなみ海道に行って挑戦してみなきゃと思います！
