Hi, this is Angie from Jabble Funabashi!

You’ve heard of New York on the American east coast.
You’ve heard of Los Angeles on the west coast.
But have you heard of Chicago in the midwest?

We might not be on the coast but we’re right on the shores of one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world. Taking a stroll on the lake shore is one of my favorite summer activities. you have the giant lake and on the other, you have Millenium park.
Of course, the day isn’t complete without a Chicago hotdog and Italian ice. How refreshing!

As the Japanese summer gets closer and closer, I can’t help but miss Chicago.

みなさん、アメリカ東海岸にあるニューヨークは聞いたことがありますね。あと、西海岸にあるロサンゼルスも聞いたことがありますね。でも、中西部にあるシカゴはどうですか？

シカゴは海岸にあるのではなく、世界で一番大きい淡水湖の岸にあると言えるかもしれません。湖の岸辺を散歩するのは、私のお気に入りの夏レジャーの一つです。片側に大きな湖があり、別の方にはミレニアム公園があります。もちろん、シカゴのホットドックとイタリアンアイスなしには一日は終われません！ほんとに爽やかなんです！
日本の夏が近づくにつれて、シカゴがつい恋しくなってしまいます。
