Bristol🌉

Roy from Funabashi here.
Today I thought I would tell you a bit about where I grew up in the UK. The city of Bristol is located in the south west of England. Bristol is very close to a city called Bath which is very popular among tourists.

I moved to Bristol from Japan when I was 8 years old. It’s a city of multicultural diversity with people from all over the world. If you’re in Bristol and you don’t like British food don’t worry! We have food from all over the world like: Jamaica, India, Thailand, Japan, Greece and many many more.

The world famous graffiti artist Banksy is also from Bristol! If you walk around Bristol you can see his art work on random walls around the city. Bristol is famous in the Uk for something called the Clifton suspension bridge and the Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

今回は、イギリスで僕が育った場所について話そうと思います。ブリストルはイギリスの南西に位置しています。ブリストルはバスという観光客に人気な都市にとても近いです。

僕は、8歳の時に日本からブリストルに移り住みました。ブリストルは、世界中から様々な人がいて、多文化で多様性がある都市です。もし、ブリストルでイギリスの食べ物が好きじゃなくても大丈夫！ジャマイカ、インド、タイ、日本、ギリシャなど他にも多くの世界中の食べ物があります。

世界的に有名な落書きをした芸術家、バンクシーもブリストル出身です。ブリストルを散歩してみると、街中のいたる壁に彼の作品があるのを見られます。他に、ブリストルは、イギリスの中で「クリフトンつり橋」と「熱気球祭り」有名です。
