Halloween Magic at Tokyo DisneySea – A Funabashi Teacher’s First Visit

It’s hard to believe with this heat, but Halloween is just around the corner!
I was reminded of that because last year, I went to Tokyo DisneySea for the first time during Halloween—and it was unforgettable.
If you live in Funabashi and you’ve never been, Tokyo DisneySea is just about an hour away by train and absolutely worth the trip.
It’s famous for its stunning scenery, one-of-a-kind attractions, and detailed theming you won’t find at any other Disney park in the world.

A Dream Come True: My First Visit
I had dreamed of visiting DisneySea for years, and finally made it happen last October.
Just riding the Disney Resort Line put a smile on my face—the Mickey-shaped windows and music set the mood.
As I arrived at DisneySea Station, I saw Mount Prometheus, the park’s central volcano. I couldn’t believe I was really there!

Exploring Mediterranean Harbor & Fantasy Springs
The entrance area, Mediterranean Harbor, felt like stepping into a real European village, complete with gondolas and cobblestone streets.
Then I headed into the park’s newest area: Fantasy Springs, inspired by fairy tales like Tangled and The Little Mermaid.
In the Tangled section, the lanterns over the water were magical. I bought a limited-edition Tangled souvenir plate—definitely a highlight of the trip!

Toy Story Mania! & Quirky Popcorn
One of my favorite rides was Toy Story Mania!—a 4D shooting game filled with Toy Story characters.
I also tried some of the park’s famous popcorn. The curry popcorn in the Arabian Coast area was delicious and really unique.

Amazing Shows & Exclusive Shopping
That evening, I saw the water show “Believe! Sea of Dreams”, featuring fireworks, music, and projections on the water.
It was breathtaking—tears might have been shed!
Before I left, I stopped by the shops to browse exclusive DisneySea merchandise, including adorable items from Duffy and Friends, themed accessories, and more.

Why I Recommend It
If you’re looking for a weekend adventure from Chiba or Funabashi, I highly recommend visiting Tokyo DisneySea.
It’s perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers—and if you’re an English student at Jabble, there’s even more reason!

まだまだ暑い日が続いていますが、もうすぐハロウィンの季節ですね🎃
実はちょうど1年前、初めて東京ディズニーシーに行ってきました！しかもハロウィンシーズンで、とても素敵な思い出になりました。
英会話スクールの生徒さんとよくディズニーやテーマパークの話をするのですが、ディズニーシーの魔法のような世界は想像以上でした。
船橋から電車で約1時間の距離にある東京ディズニーシーは、ユニークなアトラクションや美しい景観が魅力の観光スポットです。
ディズニーリゾートラインに乗って向かう道中から、ミッキーの形をした窓や楽しい音楽でワクワクが止まりませんでした。
ディズニーシー駅に着いたとき、目の前にそびえる「プロメテウス火山」に思わず息をのみました。

最初に入ったのは「メディテレーニアンハーバー」。ヨーロッパの港町のような景色に本当に感動しました。
イタリア風の建物やゴンドラ、そしてキャストの皆さんの衣装も雰囲気満点で、まるで映画のワンシーンに入り込んだようでした。
そして、最新エリア「ファンタジースプリングス」へ。『塔の上のラプンツェル』の世界を再現したエリアには、ランタンが水面に浮かぶ幻想的な風景が広がっていました。
限定のラプンツェルグッズも販売されていて、特にお皿のデザインが素敵で、思わず購入しました✨

一番のお気に入りは「トイ・ストーリー・マニア！」という4Dアトラクション。
ピクサーの世界に入り込みながら、的を狙うゲームで大人も子どもも楽しめる内容でした！
アラビアンコーストのカレー味ポップコーンや、各エリア限定のフードも楽しみのひとつ。
ファンタジースプリングスのカフェでは、見た目も可愛いスイーツやお料理が盛りだくさんでした！

夜には「ビリーブ！～シー・オブ・ドリームス～」という感動的なショーを観ました。
水上スクリーンに映し出される映像と花火、音楽、ディズニーキャラクターの演出に思わず涙が出てしまうほどでした。
ディズニーシーのお土産コーナーも魅力満載で、「ダッフィー＆フレンズ」のぬいぐるみや、ミニーのアクセサリーなど、見ているだけで楽しくなります♪
私も記念にラプンツェルのお皿をゲットしました！
